What is the Ecdysterone?
Ecdysterone (20-Hydroxyecdysone) is a type of steroid hormone found in insects, certain water animals, and some plants. Is a naturally occurring ecdysteroid hormone that controls the ecdysis of arthropods. It is therefore one of the most common moulting hormones in insects, crabs, etc. In insects, they control various life-cycle processes. Ecdysterone effectively assists in protein anabolism. It also has an important role in improving memory, immunity, and endurance.
Ecdysterone is a ”natural anabolic agent” to athletes, increases strength and muscle mass during resistance training, reduces fatigue, and eases recovery.
High-intensity exercise or any demanding physical activity requires effective recovery and protein synthesis to ensure a good workout, so using some ecdysterone in an athlete's diet ensures increases strength and muscle mass during resistance training reduces fatigue, and eases recovery.
